Greene County Fine Arts Council

Quality Community Entertainment

Membership Has It's Perks

Never has there been a more exciting time to be a part of the Greene County Fine Arts Council. As part of a renewed push to increase and expand the community involvement with Community Theater, we have drastically redesigned what it means to be a member of the Greene County Fine Arts Council. If you've ever been curious as to what membership with GCFAC means, well here are just a few items to get you started

  • Be a part of the team that sets the shows for upcoming seasons.
  • Be a part of various focused teams that help shape the future of the GCFAC.
  • Vote on and/or become part of the governing board each year.
  • Make a difference in community theater

Bottom line, the GCFAC is about reaching out and building a healthy community theater family. If you would truly like to make a difference in the community theater in our area as well as be a part of an organization that is becoming more and more known for quality entertainment, then talk to a board member about membership. The theater community is always growing and always full of new and amazing ideas and talents and we are excited to let you show everyone what you can do!

What can you do for your

community theater

The Greene County Fine Arts Council is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our life is the heart beat of our volunteers and without the help of the countless individuals who donate their time to serve their community through our organization, what we do would not be possible. There are so many ways you can get involved and be part of the GCFAC family. If you haven't acted before, maybe you'd like to give it a go. If you're not a director wanting to submit a play, perhaps you'd like to learn stage management, light board operations or help back stage during peformances. If you have artistic talent, perhaps you'd like to help paint sets, create original poster art or dress up programs. If you're a musician, you could join the orchestra on GCFAC musicals or be part of pre-show entertainment. You could stuff envelopes, run a screwdriver, sew a gown, sweep the stage, brush an eyelash, hold a door, put up a poster, hold a ladder, hand out a ticket... It's all volunteers and every volunteer is important to the Greene County Fine Arts Council. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your theatre community and your community in general, as well as a great way to become a member of the GCFAC family.

Be a part of making Greene County Fine Arts Council even better in the months and years to come. It's fun, it's creative, it's rewarding. Don't put it off any longer!
